Bryan Mills, portrayed by Liam Neeson, is a character from the "Taken" film series written and produced by Luc Besson.  Mills is a retired CIA operative who single handedly takes on the European sex trafficking lords to rescue his kidnapped daughter.  In Taken 2 he is kidnapped along with his wife by the avenging gang members and once again uses his years of training to turn the tables on his captors
